We require the following to verify your account:

– Driver’s license (front and back) – if applicable
– Insurance certificate – if applicable
– Vehicle license plate – if applicable
– Screenshot of your current profile (with rating and # of trips/deliveries completed) from any other delivery or rideshare app (UberEats/DoorDash/Skip/Instacart).

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed within 72 hours.

Q: I am located in ________. When are you coming to my city?

A: FareEats/Direct Local Eats will launch in any given city upon reaching a minimum number of drivers and businesses, which would allow us to start delivering locally. The numbers are based on a city’s population. For large cities (such as LA, NY, etc.), we would require at least 1000 drivers and 100+ businesses in order to launch there and start promoting to consumers.

Q: I have registered on www.directcoops.com but have not heard back. Was my application received?

A: We are experiencing an extremely high volume of applications and do our best to get back to everyone in a timely fashion. With that being said, in order to be able to deliver with FareEats/Direct Local Eats, you MUST complete the 3 mandatory steps listed above.

Q: I would like to refer drivers/businesses in my city to help the platform grow. How do I do that?

A: The easiest way to make referrals is using your referral link (you will find it under your account at www.directcoops.com). Anyone you refer must register using your link. You can also generate a free QR code online (https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/).

We also offer personalized driver and business flyers. To get your flyers, please send us your QR code or referral link and we will email them to you.

Q: I own an ebike/scooter. Can I deliver for FareEats/Direct Local Eats?

A: Yes, absolutely. When signing up on the Driver app, select the option relevant to you from the Delivery Type dropdown.

Q: I am looking to do rideshare. Is it available yet?

A: Our rideshare will launch in any city upon reaching the minimum number of drivers needed to launch and apply for a rideshare license in that city.

Q: I would like to market the platform to consumers. How do I go about doing that?

A: Prior to marketing to consumers, we need to ensure a critical mass of businesses and drivers in any given city. This is to ensure customers have a wide variety of food options and restaurants to choose from, to maximize the effectiveness of marketing. We encourage everyone to help recruit more businesses and drivers to ensure we are ready to market to consumers once that critical mass is reached.
